TAR UC and Preference (Group of Companies) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 25 September 2018.

With the signing of the MoU, TAR UC and Preference (Group of Companies) will support each other in the following areas:

• Knowledge sharing in the fields of Engineering & Technology as well as Business

• Internship and career opportunities for students

• Joint research activities

• Seminars, conferences and workshops

Founded in 1994, Preference (Group of Companies) has 24 years of experience in integrated waste management solutions in adherence to international standards.

The collaboration is a proof of TAR UC’s commitment to support and contribute towards research and development in the waste management industry for a greener Malaysia.

Representing TAR UC for the MoU signing ceremony were Prof. Ir. Dr. Lee Sze Wei, President of TAR UC and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Toh Guat Guan, TAR UC Penang Branch Campus Head. Representing Preference (Group of Companies) were Mr. Jason Liew Kean Seng (Director) and Mr. Lim Cheng Huat (General Manager).
