A  DYNAMIC COLLABORATION BETWEEN FCCI (TAR UC) AND GOOGLE

On 30 November 2019, Faculty of Communication and Creative Industry (FCCI) of TAR UC Penang Branch Campus had joined hands with Google Developer Group(GDG) and Google Business Group (GBG) to co-host Google International Conference. Twenty five students from Diploma in Public Relations had played an important role in organizing this wonderful event. The theme for this year’s event was “Technology and Opportunities. What’s Next?” This year, the event focussed on what is next for technologies and the business opportunities that we can derive from them.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Janice Toh Guat Guan, Head of Penang Branch Campus, came to deliver her keynote address. There were several on-going plenary sessions happening simultaneously at different locations. Many ‘tech geeks’ were present to share their expertise and experience with the participants. This was indeed an eye-opener to many participants on the latest technologies used at the moment. There were also a few sponsors coming to setup their booths such as Borderless Geek, Forward School, TNG Digital and Women TechMakers.
