TAR UC Penang recently sent 12 participants (students) to take part in the Heir Reunion 3.0: Wucui Wushu Championship 2019 organised by the INTI International University Nilai Wushu And Lion Dance Society. This national level inter-varsity and open competition is supported by the Wushu Federation of Malaysia, Negeri Sembilan Wushu and Dragon & Lion Dance Association.

The event was officiated by YB Tuan Arul Kumar A/L Jambunathan, Human Resources, Plantation and Non-Muslim Affairs Committee Chairman EXCO & ADUN Nilai and Mr. Chong Yun Fat, the Chairman of Negeri Sembilan Chin Woo Athletic Association. It provided a platform to enhance the development of wushu in Malaysia as well as to promote interaction among University wushu clubs.

More than 20 institutions and schools (such as UPM, MMU, TAR UC Penang, Inti International University etc.) took part in the competition. TAR UC Penang participated in 8 categories of the individual events where participant performance was judged by a panel of judges. Overall, TARUC Penang managed to win a total of 1 Gold, 2 Silvers and 4 Bronzes. Details are as follows:
