IPRMSA TAR UC Penang Branch Chapter was launched on 21st March 2019 with the objective of giving our public relations students more exposure to prepare them to be industry-ready upon graduation.
Dato’ Haji Ibrahim Abd Rahman officially launched IPRMSA TAR UC Penang Branch and expressed hope that the Public Relations Act will be introduced in Parliament for PR professionals to have a brighter future in Malaysia.
Prof. Dr. Jamilah Ahmad highlighted that academicians with public relations industrial experience can not only teach PR theory to their students but pass on tacit knowledge to them.
Ms. Jacqueline Michelle Arnold, Managing Director, Centriq PR Sdn. Bhd, with 20 years of PR industry experience, emphasized that it is important to understand what society desires to boost your ability to become an excellent PR practitioner.
