Mr. Chan Kok Long from iPay88 was invited as the speaker for the industrial talk named “FinTech: The Future of Finance”. Mr. Chan Kok Long is one of the three key founders of iPay88 and he is currently the Executive Director of both iPay88 Holdings Sdn Bhd (formerly known as iPay88 Sdn Bhd) and iPay88 (M) Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Mobile88.com Sdn Bhd). The main objective of the talk is to introduce FinTech to all Finance & Business students as this is the future of finance and business globally.

The session started with an opening speech by the Associate Dean of Department of Accountancy and Business, Ms. Cheng Seow Voon. This was followed by Mr. Chan’s introduction of FinTech industry. He then talked about the type of attitude that students should possess when they join the industry after graduating from their studies. Besides, he also elaborated on the career opportunities in FinTech industry. The talk ended after a Q&A session. The students gave very positive feedback about the talk as it had opened the minds of students about FinTech industry.
