TAR UC to collaborate with PYDC to

sharpen students’ technical and soft skills

TAR UC Penang Branch Campus signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Penang Youth Development Corporation (PYDC) on 28 March 2021 for collaborations for activities that will further strengthen and sharpen soft and technical skills in TAR UC students.

The MoU was signed by Associate Professor Dr Janice Toh Guat Guan, Penang Branch Head, and Dr Gwee Sai Ling, General Manager of Penang Youth Development Corporation. In attendance of the ceremony was the guest of honour, YB Soon Lip Chee, Chairman of Youth and Sports Committee. The partnership signals greater cooperation in activities and events to further hone skill sets that are essential for students to thrive in the era of digitalisation. The MoU is a partnership between the Penang state body, TAR UC and other institutions of higher learning in Penang to boost youth development and their marketability.
