In line with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals, TAR UMT Community Service Society took steps to make sure students in need had access to healthy lunch. Thanks to sponsorship-in-kind from charitable folks, vegetarian lunch boxes were distributed on Thursday afternoons throughout the 202205 semester, feeding 650 meals to people facing hunger. This free lunch project was designed to promote vegetarian meals, lighten students’ monetary burden amidst the rising cost of living and to take care of their well-being.
