On 14 June 2023, a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed between TAR UMT and AbleTech Solutions Sdn Bhd. 

AbleTech Solutions Sdn Bhd allocated RM104,940 in undertaking an industrial project and financing the tuition fees for a Masters degree student pursuing a research based programme.

The signing cerememony was attended by Prof. Ir. Dr Lee Sze Wei, President of TAR UMT, Prof. Dr Loke Chui Fung, Vice President of TAR UMT and representatives of AbleTech Solutions Sdn Bhd.
