A blood donation campaign organised by the First Aid Unit of TAR UMT Penang Branch was held from 11 April 2023 to 12 April 2023.

The blood donation campaign inculcates in the youth the importance of donating blood to save lives.

184 persons volunteered to donate their blood however, only 144 of them were allowed to donate blood by the hospital’s medical doctors. Their blood donation would contribute to help keep the hospital’s blood bank reserves healthy. 

The Penang Island General Hospital was happy with the amount of blood donated during this blood donation campaign.
